General Information

 

  • 1. Dress – Members are expected to conform to reasonable
  •     standards of dress on and off the course.
  • 2. Handicaps – All handicap match play competitions will be
  •     played on the full difference between the medal handicaps of
  •     the two players. All Golf Autoscore cards (9 or 18 holes) must
  •     be marked as requested (see notice board) and signed by player
  •     and marker, and all manual cards must be correctly marked,
  •     dated and signed by player and marker. Golf Autoscore cards
  •     and manual cards must be handed in (down the card slot) at the
  •     end of every round (9 or 18 holes).
  • 3. Competition Club Day – Grading for Competition will be
  •     determined by number of players on day of play.
  • 4. Course – The course is open to all members 7 days a week
  •     except where a Tournament is played and the course closed to
  •     other than those participating.
  •    (a) Club Day – Saturdays. Tee off time is 11.00am to 12.30pm, at
  •     Starter’s discretion.
  • 5. Playing of Matches – All matches are to be played “By” or “On
  •     the Day” as the programme requires. There is equal onus on
  •     all members drawn to play games to arrange them. If attempts
  •     to arrange a game prove unsuccessful, the member making
  •     the attempt should report the circumstances to the Match
  •     Committee. Where a game is unplayed by the due date and no
  •     explanation has been offered, the Match Committee may default
  •     either or both players.
  •     All dates are subject to alterations by the Match Committee.
  • 6. Complaints – No complaints shall be considered unless
  •     submitted in writing to the Secretary for submission to the
  •     COMMITTEE. Decisions made by the Committee will be final.
  • 7. Starting Times – Starting Time is at the Starter’s discretion.
